The company started in 1927 with a production of Iolanthe, which has been performed four times, only beaten by The Mikado, which has been performed six times. We currently stage one main production a year, usually at Easter, at the lovely Zennor Theatre at Penwith College, Penzance, and put on concerts and other events throughout the year, where we raise funds for local charities.

It's not always as frightening as this !

We range from fifteen years of age upwards. Not only are we full of talented singers, actors and dancers, but we also have a great backstage and production team. Without all the help behind the scenes no show would go on. We are so grateful for everyone’s support.

Cole Porter's famous show 'ANYTHING GOES', set on board the liner SS American, was going to be our production at Easter 2020, but due to the CV19 pandemic, it had to be postponed.  We were glad to have the performing rights for 2021, and as this couldn't happen, we put it on at the Zennor Theatre in Penwith College to very appreciative audiences in April 2022.

'The Sound of Music' was our next big show in April 2023.   We are so pleased that the show was a complete sell-out, and was very warmly received.
Another seven performances sold out in April 2024, when we did "Sister Act".  It has been another happy production, which helps so much.

In August 2024, we put on the lovely Noel Coward play "Blithe Spirit", which was so well received.

Next year's big show will be "Nine to Five" at Easter 2025.  Rehearsals start in October 2024.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support.

We are very fortunate to have a large group of people who support us.
Throughout the year we contact them to let them know what we are doing,
so that they can attend the shows, concerts and other events.
These Friends also have priority booking for our annual big show,
and have their names printed in the show programme.
The Zennor Theatre at Penwith College can only accomodate an audience of 150, so seats are usually sold out quickly.
By supporting us, Friends have a booking advantage.
Should you wish to become an official Friend, do please let us know, using the Contact Us page.
Donations of £10 (and more !) are very welcome.
21/04/23    Nothing to report at the moment.   Good !
"The Sound of Music" at Easter had seven sold-out performances. So glad that all enjoyed it, and the children were all stars, of course!

25/10/23 "Sister Act" is now cast, and rehearsals have started. Sounding great already.

23/12/23 Having a Christmas break. Back to rehearsals at Landithy Hall, Madron on 4th January.

11/02/24 Sister Act rehearsals are hard-going. Everything is new to us..... but all this work has paid off, and we shall be putting on another cracking shoe in April.

16/03/24 Ticket sales are going really well, and up to now there has been minimal (costly) advertising. Win Win !

20/04/24 After a wonderful week at Zennor Theatre doing "Sister Act" things have gone quiet, because we're so exhausted! Keep looking here and on Facebook, will you, because there'll probably be a play at Landithy Hall, Madron in the Summer.

August 2024 at Landithy Hall..... Four performances of "Blithe Spirit", warmly welcomed by great audiences.  We must do more things like this. We're open to suggestions if you know a play which might suit us and our audience.
